From August to May, we host a wide range of youth and adult events at the Athens YWCO Conference Center. Given the diversity of our facilities, we are able to accommodate almost any request you might have when it comes to needing a place to host your event such as a corporate meeting, a wedding banquet or even a Girl Scout camp out. We will help customize your stay and put together an event that fits your needs.

Dining Accommodations:
Our large dining hall seats up to 200 people. We truly “cater” to your specific food requirements for your event. We are well known for the excellent food and friendly Southern hospitality. We can create a relaxed environment for a Southern Bar-B-Q meal or create a perfect setting for a special wedding event. Let us know what you are looking for and we will be glad to create a menu that fits your group’s needs.
Our typical menu consists of a salad, entrée, vegetable, rice or potatoes, bread, dessert, tea and coffee. As a group, you can select two entrées from our menu. However, we do request that you provide us with an exact count for the numbers of each of the entrées.
Pricing for the food services is dependent upon the entrées selected. In addition, there is a $100 room rental fee that covers the set-up, clean up and a parking attendant. We require a 40-person minimum to reserve a date.
Please contact us to see our traditional menu offerings. Keep in mind that we can also create a themed banquet which is especially fun for groups – such as Southern Bar-B-Q meals, Backyard Burgers & Dogs, Good Ole’ Fashion Sack Lunches or even a “Low Country Boil!”
Sleeping Accommodations:
We have three housing options available for your group for rent.
The “Taj”: The “Taj” sleeps 18 in eight separate rooms with seven bathrooms. All eight bedrooms have twin beds. There is also a large den / dining room with two futons that fold out to double beds. (The “Taj” has heat and air conditioning.)
Counselor’s (CIT) House: The Counselor’s House can sleep 17 people. The house has four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Three of the bedrooms have two sets of bunk beds while the fourth bedroom has two twin beds. The house also has a large den area with three futon that fold out to double beds. (The CIT house has heat and air conditioning.)
Rustic Cabins: Our cabins can accommodate almost any size group. Our eight rustic cabins have bunk beds and most can sleep up to 20 people. A bathhouse is conveniently located in the center of the cabin areas with separate female and male accommodations.
